FOCUS In 5th Grade

Reader's theater is when we read a play from a skript and the teacher gives you your part. In our FOCUS class , we are doing a "Midsummer Night's Dream". It is about two young people in love from different familys. Hermia , one of the main charaters[played by me] ,falls in love with an unwealthy pesent named Lysander. Her father Egeus, wants Hermia to marry Demetrius. Meanwhile Helena, falls in love with Demetrius. Demetrius thinks he's in love with Hermia but he is really in love with Helena. Lysander and Hermia planned to get married in the forest , but Helena over heard and told Demetrius thinking that it would make him fall in love with her, but all it did was make Demertrius go find Hermia. While this was happening, there was a crew practicing their play for the wedding for Demetrius and Hermia[ which will eventualy be for Lysander and Hermia]. While all this took place, the fairy king and queen were having a fight over their child. So the fairy king plays a trick on his wife. The fairy helper puts a donkey head on one th the actor's head and puts the love juice in the fairy queen's eyes. She fell in love with the donkey. The king felt bad for Helena so he told his helper to put the fairy juice in Demertrius' eyes ,but he fairy helper, Puck spreads the love juice in the wrong people's eyes.Eventualy, everyone falls in love with the right person and the fairies fall back in love.
In fifth grade, you have alot to look foward to. Espeacily if you are in FOCUS. You get to do readers theater, challaging puzzels, read stories, triple vin diagrams, and more logic.I enjoyed all my years at Rock Springs but fith grade was one of my many favorites. I will miss our fun but logic activities, but I am moving on to PROBE which is like FOCUS but in middle school. It is more challenging and we get to do more logic activites. I can't wait to go to middel school but I am sad to leave. For those of you nevus to start fifth grade , kick back, relax, and enjoy what you have because.
